I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone, saying no to things I feel like I *should* say yes to and yes to things that make me nervous, sloughing off the nonsense and anything that makes me feel lousy.
There isn’t one face of someone who needs these services, no one race or religion or income or life situation that exclusively requires this kind of assistance, nor deserves it more than anyone else.
